The word "organic" refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. The USDA has strict certification program guidelines even for a farm to be considered organic. Organic food is even now has become a regular feature in most supermarkets where once upon a time was only seasonal at your local farmers market. Organic lends to providing more vitamins and fiber, lower or fat free, sodium, cholesterol and hormone/chemical drug free.

Ok, now let’s talk about “natural”. Organic and natures are not interchangeable terms. Terms like “all natural”, “free range”, “hormone free” describe foods that are grown and process but not under the certification guidelines that are grown and processed according to USDA organic standards so they cannot be labeled as organic. But realistically, “natural” has better nutrition value then bio-engineered products.

Believe in Yourself

By definition, a placebo, innocuous substance or suggestion that has no effect on your body. Placebos, such as sugar pills or the power of suggesstion, are therefore used as controls against which the effects of modern-day medical treatments are measured.

However, the placebo-effect, in which a patient believes he or she is getting an actual drug and subsequently feels better, despite receiving no "active" treatment at all, has become a well-recognized phenomenon.

A number of studies have revealed that placebos can work just as well as potent drugs. Sham surgery has even been shown to produce results that are equal to actual surgery!

Indeed, mounting research suggests this "power of the mind," or power of belief, can be a very healing force. Studies into the placebo effect also show that many conventional treatments "work" because of the placebo effect and little else.

 

Get cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This effective therapy can help you overcome psychological difficulties or behaviors that are unhealthy by focusing on the thoughts that lead to them. A diary of emotions and thoughts are usually kept and discussed with a therapist who recommends ways to help control negative thoughts that are harming self-esteem or causing stress.

Use essential oils. Essential oils are absorbed through the skin and can help heal your body. Many have antibacterial, antifungal, or antiviral properties. You often only need a few drops, so a small bottle can last a long time. Popular essential oils include lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree oil, peppermint, and chamomile.  Essential oils are very concentrated so dilute these with a carrier oil like almond, sesame, or coconut oil when using on babies or those with sensitive skin.
